Federal Agency Financial Audit Readiness

J.P. Associates, Inc., (JPA) is a small business with extensive experience in providing consulting services to government agencies, primarily in the Department of Defense, in the broad areas of financial reporting, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Act compliance, audit readiness, business process/financial systems, accounting operations, and program management support. JPA is currently seeking individuals with Federal experience for a consulting team assisting a DoD activity in the evaluation of its financial reporting processes. Work will be performed at a client site in the National Capital Region.

Position requirements – Mandatory

  • Active Top Secret/SCI
  • CPA or CDFM or Advanced Business Degree
  • Minimum 8 years experience in federal sector (audit and/or accounting)
  • Knowledge/experience with federal financial audit readiness requirements
  • General knowledge of logistics/property management activities

 

Primary Responsibilities

Evaluate business processes and controls in support of readiness for financial audit

Compensation:

Salary levels: Commensurate with level of experience.
